WHO ARE WE?
Here at Briggs, the Gospel is what unifies us and is foundational in everything that we do. We aim to be a light and example of God’s love in our community through practical and spiritual means, allowing the truths found in Scripture to guide us. Our hope is that you will able to get a glimpse of that during your visit.
WHAT TO EXPECT
We want you to feel as comfortable as possible walking through our doors. To ensure this, we have answered some of your questions before making your first visit. We can't wait to meet you!
What can I expect walking through the door?
We have two main entrances here at Briggs. The front entrance (closest to the main road) leads into the front lobby directly in front of the sanctuary where our main service is held. The side entrance (further back into the parking lot) leads into our main lobby closest to our gymnasium and children's church. Expect to be greeted at the door by one of our greeters, if you have any questions walking in, feel free to ask them. They should be able to direct you to our Welcome Center, classrooms, bathrooms, etc. On Sunday mornings, we often have coffee and other beverages available in the front lobby for our attendees.
What does a typical service at Briggs look like?
Our main service begins at 11am and typically lasts until 12:15pm. We are a diverse, multi-cultural congregation and hold a multi-language blended service (Scripture reading is done in Spanish and English). At Briggs, you can expect our worship band to lead us in theologically sound, God-centered worship music and a Biblical expository message from our Pastor, Ray Umphrey.
What is available for my children?
All ages are welcome here at Briggs including your children! On Sunday mornings, we have Sunday school classes and nursery available. Check out our ministry pages for more information:
How do attendees typically dress?
There is no "dress code" here at Briggs, you will find a diversity in dress ranging from modest formal wear to casual dress. We want you to feel welcomed at Briggs regardless of what you choose to wear.
