Opening Ceremony
Our Awana program begins with an Opening Ceremony which is held in our auditorium. During this time we pray, sing, recite a verse, and listen in on any announcements.
Game Time
Game time is also held within our gymnasium and give kids the opportunity to move and play games directed by our staff. Kids are able to compete and learn to work as a team during this time.
Handbook Time
During the Handbook time, kids are separated by grade to receive one-on-one time with their designated teachers to encourage scripture memorization, Bible learning, and question and answer.
Council Time
During Council time, children are divided by age groups to receive an age appropriate Bible lesson covering different themes and stories in scripture. Videos or songs might also be presented during this time.
The Awana Store
Each Awana clubber has the opportunity to earn Awana bucks. This is Awana money to be spent when the Awana Store is open. Awana bucks can be earned by saying memory verses (sections), meeting attendance, wearing uniform, bringing visitors, bringing their Bible, etc. When the Awana Store is open, kids will be able to select from a variety of items including small toys and fun activities they will enjoy. This occurs every several weeks and will be announced beforehand.
Theme Nights
Throughout the year we hold theme nights to bring some fun and encourage participation among our leaders and clubbers. Theme nights and other special events will be announced and information will be sent out prior to ensure all clubbers and their parents are aware.
