Pastor Ray has been involved in ministry for over 20 years both as a pastor and a denominational leader in Tennessee and Kentucky. Ray and his wife, Katrina, are East Tennessee natives and have been married since 2005. Ray came to Briggs Road Baptist Church as Lead Pastor in 2017. As the lead pastor, Ray is the primary preaching pastor and provides leadership and spiritual care for the church. Pastor Ray is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Christian Preaching at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he previously earned a Master of Divinity. Ray loves playing guitar, hunting, dancing with his wife, and relaxing in front of a good comedy, sci-fi flick, or an old western. Check out his personal website here!
Family Life Pastor
Pastor Rick has been serving churches throughout the US for almost 30 years. Rick has been with Briggs Road Baptist Church since 2014 and joined the staff in 2018. As the Family Life Pastor, Rick serves the church by overseeing and equipping the different ministries of the church and working with the Lead Pastor in developing new ministries and aligning the current ministries for growth. Rick has been married to his wife Marcie since 1988, and they have 3 grown children (Deb, Maria, and Daniel). Rick loves to tinker in the garden, on computers, and on VW Beetles (no Beetle lately).
Spanish Mission Pastor
Pastor David has been in the ministry for more than 44 years and during those years he served as mission pastor in multiple countries and he ministered throughout all of Ohio where he planted 4 churches. David has been with Briggs Road Baptist Church since 2002 as Spanish Mission Pastor. David and his late wife Maria Luisa have been married since 1965, and they have 4 children (Carmen, Michie, John, and Carlos) with 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. David loves to play golf, play with his grandchildren, and travel!
Brantley & Sarah Wiggins
Student Ministry Leaders
Brantley and Sarah have been attending Briggs Road Baptist Church since they were students in the youth group and have been serving as Student Ministry Leaders since 2014. Brantley and Sarah teach 7th-12th graders on Sunday and Wednesday evenings. They have been married for eight years and have a fur baby named Dobby (yes, like from Harry Potter). They love exploring new places in Columbus, drinking coffee, and spending time with friends and family.
